A complete Intoduction to GitHub

Description

GitHub is a code hosting platform for version control and collaboration. It lets you and others work together on projects from anywhere. This is a important piece of tech if you want to work in a tech community or contribute in the open source!

Y’all might be having questions such as « Why should one use Github? and etc » all of your queries will be covered and answered in the session itself.

This session will cover the basics of GitHub and Git. After this session one will get a hands-on experience of GitHub.

Pre-requisites for github session:

1. Have a good internet connection

2. Laptop is must

3. create a account on github.
As easy as creating a account on instagram!

4. Install GIT:
Step 1: download link: https://git-scm.com/downloads
Step 2: Install accordingly, (just keep on clicking next, ignore the instructions, will be explained later)
Step 3: Type « Git bash » in the windows search bar, if you see the app then it is successfully installed.
Step 4: other important steps will be shown in the session, so chill! the above part is the easy part.
