A complete Intoduction to GitHub

Description

GitHub is a code hosting platform for version control and collaboration. It lets you and others work together on projects from anywhere. This is a important piece of tech if you want to work in a tech community or contribute in the open source!

Y’all might be having questions such as „Why should one use Github? and etc“ all of your queries will be covered and answered in the session itself.

This session will cover the basics of GitHub and Git. After this session one will get a hands-on experience of GitHub.

Pre-requisites for github session:

1. Have a good internet connection

2. Laptop is must

3. create a account on github.
As easy as creating a account on instagram!

4. Install GIT:
Step 1: download link: https://git-scm.com/downloads
Step 2: Install accordingly, (just keep on clicking next, ignore the instructions, will be explained later)
Step 3: Type „Git bash“ in the windows search bar, if you see the app then it is successfully installed.
Step 4: other important steps will be shown in the session, so chill! the above part is the easy part.
