Community Event Workshop

Description

Are you interested in mobilising fellow language speakers to make speech technology work better for their languages and accents ?

Common Voice is a Mozilla Initiative to crowdsource voice data so speech recognition models can better understand how real people speak. At this event you will learn about the resources and ideas you can use to host a local event either in person or virtually.

Goals

Participants will learn about how they can design fun and exciting event.

Participants will share and discuss ideas they have for events.

Participants will learn about the resources and templates available to them to set up an event.
