Πιστεύουμε ότι πολλές λήψεις προήλθαν από τρίτους ιστοτόπους που σας επιτρέπουν να κάνετε λήψη του Firefox. Αν και ορισμένοι από αυτούς είναι ασφαλείς, κάποιοι άλλοι μπορούν να σας θέσουν σε κίνδυνο, προσφέροντας μια παλιά έκδοση ή μια έκδοση στη λάθος γλώσσα, τα οποία με τη σειρά τους οδηγούν σε κινδύνους ασφαλείας, κακή εμπειρία χρήσης ή ακόμα και εγκαταστάσεις κακόβουλου λογισμικού.
